Why Animal Kingdom is made for scavenger bingo

Animal Kingdom is a natural fit for scavenger-style bingo, because the whole park is built around exploring. Use the built-in list or load the board with your group's own details.

Pull squares from Pandora's glowing plants, the drop on Expedition Everest, the quiet of the animal trails, the drummers in Harambe and Asia. You might add a performer mid-song, a floating Pandora creature drifting over the path, the distant roar of Everest, a guest decked out in full safari gear, a kid trying to imitate a banshee, or a giraffe on Kilimanjaro Safaris strolling across the road like it owns the place. Even the first Tree of Life photo can be a square.

Then make it yours with inside jokes, favorite snacks, and the rare finds: a lizard sunning on a rock, a hidden creature carved into the Tree of Life. The park's mix of nature, fantasy, and culture gives you more squares than one board can hold.

How to play Animal Kingdom scavenger hunt bingo

The park is built for exploring, which is exactly what makes the board work. Here is the flow.

1. Build the board. Start with the ready-made Animal Kingdom list or fill it with the park's own moments: the glowing plants of Pandora, a drummer in Harambe, a turkey leg the size of a forearm, the face everyone makes on the Expedition Everest drop.

2. Share the link at the gate. Everyone joins on their own phone. Nothing to carry on the safari, nothing to drop on the trails.

3. Mark squares as you explore. Spot something on your board and tap that square on your phone. It is Disney, so you will be taking pictures all day anyway, and by the end you have a blurry gallery of safari animals and dramatic ride faces.

4. First to five in a row calls bingo, and the screen throws a little confetti. Mix the easy animal-trail finds with the rare ones so it lasts the whole day. First to bingo picks where you grab the next Night Blossom.

Everyone plays from the same board on their own phone, so nobody is fumbling with paper on the trails. Here is how joining works before the safari.

A few tips for the day

Start the game early so people are dialed in from the moment they walk through the gate, and keep the board balanced with easy squares and harder ones.

The food makes great squares here: Night Blossom drinks, a turkey leg, festival snacks over in Asia. If your group is competitive, agree to show each other the find before tapping a square, or just run it on the honor system and keep it loose. Take a few pictures of your finds along the way and the end-of-day scroll-back turns into a hilarious collection of blurry safari shots, surprise animal cameos, and dramatic Expedition Everest faces.

Between the storytelling and the actual wildlife, Animal Kingdom hands you more than enough unique moments to fill a board.

Items to keep the day running smoothly

Stay prepared and comfortable throughout the day with a few simple essentials that make navigating Animal Kingdom easier.

A fun photo-op extra

Want a silly extra for the group photo? This satin sash is a cheap, ridiculous way to ham it up at the end of the day. Pure gag, zero seriousness.

Turn a park day into a shared adventure

Animal Kingdom is already immersive, and a scavenger-hunt bingo game just turns the day into something more connected. Even when the group spreads out across Pandora, Asia, Africa, and Discovery Island, everyone stays in the same running game.

Share the link, customize the board, and let the game run quietly in the background of your day. Every animal, every trail, and every performance becomes part of the challenge.

Hitting the other parks on the same trip? There are boards for Magic Kingdom, Epcot, and Hollywood Studios too, so the whole vacation can run on one long friendly rivalry.
