Our Story
It started with a printed bingo card and a group text. We were watching On Patrol: Live with family, playing bingo off a card we had printed out and passed around, calling our squares to each other over text. It worked, sort of. It was also a mess: paper everywhere, somebody always a call behind, and no way to see what anyone else had marked.
Halfway through, we said out loud what everyone at the table was thinking. We could do much better than this. So we did.
My Event Bingo is built by Coding Innovations, a small software company in Florida that has been building applications since 2006. It is a small team: developers who build it, and the friends and family who keep telling us what is broken.
Everything the game does traces back to that night. No printing, because the paper was the problem. Everyone on their own phone, because passing one card around does not work. One live game everybody shares, because the whole point was seeing it happen together. What started as a fix for a watch party is now used for showers, family gatherings, classrooms, office games, and the watch parties where it began. On Patrol: Live still has its own board.
Idea
A printed card, a group text, and a show on the TV. There had to be a better way to do this.

Our Team
We are a small team of software developers in Florida, working under Coding Innovations. We are not an events company. We are people who build software and got tired of printed bingo cards at our own watch parties.
That means the roadmap is shaped by playing it. Most of what we have added came from running a game and finding the thing that did not work: a squeeze on the join flow, a board that was hard to read on a phone, a call nobody heard. If something is broken for you, tell us. A real person reads it.
