Scan a code, tap Join, play. That is the whole sign-up.

Copy the link, or show the code. Same game either way.

Pick a name, pick an icon, or skip both. Then Join.
No accounts, no app, no downloads
The link opens in the browser on any phone, tablet, or laptop. Players see the game, tap Join Game, and they are in. A name and an icon are optional, and colours are chosen inside the game. Nobody has to create an account to play, which matters when the group is your parents, your customers, or thirty ninth-graders. If someone does sign in, they get a profile, a list of the games they have played, and their friends.

Your game is reachable only by its link until you choose to list it.
Private unless you say otherwise
A new game is private. Its link cannot be guessed, it does not show up anywhere, and the only people who can find it are the ones you sent it to. If you want strangers to find your game, turn on "List this game publicly" and it appears on the public games page. Turn it off again before the game starts.

The game opens itself at the time you set.
Set it for later, and put it on the calendar
Set a start date and time and the game opens on its own at that moment. Before then, the link shows the game details and a message that it has not started, so you can send it out days ahead. As soon as you create the game, and any time inside it, you can download a calendar file (.ics) with the game's title and link, choose the date and time on it yourself, and drop it into whatever calendar you use. The game runs until you finish it, until the winner count is reached, or for 24 hours, whichever comes first.

A meeting room, a classroom, a watch party. The code works the same.
The code on the big screen
For a room full of people the QR code is faster than any link. Open Share on the host's laptop, put the code on the projector or the TV, and let people scan it while you talk. Latecomers scan it too: the code is the game's link, and it works for as long as the game is running.
